What happens

Four conversations, one room

  1. 1

    Measure

Room dimensions, window and door placement, traffic paths, and the doorway and stair turns your furniture has to clear.

  2. 2

    Plan

A scaled layout with clearances marked, so you can see what fits before anything is ordered.

  3. 3

    Choose

Frames on the floor, fabric and finish swatches to take home and live with for a week.

  4. 4

    Quote

One written number covering furniture, delivery, assembly, haul-away, and any protection plan — no surprises at the register.

Design services are free and our designers are not paid on a tiered commission — there is no financial reason for anyone here to talk you into a bigger sofa than your room can take. In-home visits carry a $99 trip fee that is credited in full toward any order over $1,499.

Bring these

What makes a consultation useful

Photos of the room from two corners, the wall-to-wall dimensions, ceiling height, and the width of the narrowest doorway between the truck and the room. That is enough for a designer to plan around.

If you have a floor plan from a builder or realtor, bring that instead — it saves the whole first step.

  • Two photos of the room, taken from opposite corners
  • Wall-to-wall measurements and ceiling height
  • The narrowest doorway or stair turn on the path in
